About the Role
We’re seeking a Copywriter to join our Brand Marketing team, focusing on Performance Marketing, User Acquisition (UA), and Lifecycle Marketing (LCM). This role is perfect for a writer who thrives at the intersection of creativity and analytics—crafting persuasive, high-converting copy that drives engagement and conversion across digital ads, email, push notifications, SMS, and other marketing touchpoints.
As a key contributor, you’ll collaborate with our Creative and Marketing teams to develop strategic, results-driven messaging that resonates with new and existing users. You’ll play a crucial role in shaping EarnIn’s brand voice and evolving our messaging to support our mission.
What You’ll Do
- Craft compelling, conversion-optimized copy for paid media (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Display), email, push notifications, SMS, and in-app messaging to drive acquisition and retention.
- Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to develop engaging headlines, scripts, and CTAs aligned with EarnIn’s brand voice and performance goals.
- Support A/B testing initiatives, iterating on messaging based on data insights to optimize engagement and conversions.
- Work closely with the LCM team to ensure a seamless, consistent brand experience across customer touchpoints.
- Adapt messaging for different audience segments and funnel stages while maintaining brand consistency.
- Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, growth-driven environment, responding quickly to feedback.
- Partner with legal and compliance teams to ensure messaging aligns with regulatory requirements while maintaining effectiveness.
- Stay informed on performance marketing trends, emerging copywriting techniques, and best practices to continuously refine our approach.
What We’re Looking For
- 3-5 years of copywriting experience, ideally in performance marketing, digital advertising, or growth marketing.
- Strong understanding of User Acquisition (UA) and Lifecycle Marketing (LCM)—experience writing for paid social, email, push notifications, and digital advertising is required.
- Results-driven mindset with a proven ability to craft conversion-focused copy that moves users through the funnel.
- Experience analyzing data and performance metrics to refine messaging and optimize campaigns.
- Experience writing for fintech, startups, or mobile apps (especially in regulated industries) is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills—able to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with AI writing tools, marketing automation platforms, and A/B testing is a plus.
- Portfolio showcasing short-form, high-impact marketing copy (ads, emails, landing pages, push notifications, scripts).
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $126,000 – $154,000 (plus equity & benefits)
Location: Hybrid (2 days/week in our Mountain View office)
